Anyone who owns a site wants to see the maximum traffic to the site. So if you desire the same then what is the harm? But I found that drawing visitors to a site is not as simple as it may seem, it involves a lot of hard work and planning. Some people will advice you that you can get good traffic solely by submitting your site to directories. But I doubt the wisdom of these people. There are so many websites that have to wait for months before their submission bears fruit and they get a page rank. - Check your links properly before submitting because broken links might have an adverse reaction from the directories.
- Submit in the right category. Find out which category suits you the most because submission in the wrong category may lead to non-acceptance on the directories part.
- Make your site compact and filled with articles containing valuable information.
